Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital was founded in 1986. After 30 years of development, it has grown into a professional and excellent hospital. Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital introduced the focused ultrasound tumor treatment system developed by Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co., Ltd. in early 2019, and established the HIFU Treatment Center. The center is led by director Xu Deyao, three chief physicians Zhuang Feiqi, Wu Zhenxuan, and Jiang Xinru and their obstetrics and gynecology team, who work jointly to promote the development of the non-invasive treatment technology and build it into a specialty of Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. The focused ultrasound ablation surgery provides a new choice that does not need open surgery, puncture or anaesthesia and can save the normal function of womb for females who have uterine fibroids, bringing new hope to the patients.
